Postdoctoral Teaching Assistants

Perimeter Scholars International invites applications for Postdoctoral Teaching Assistants for this exciting Master’s level graduate course in theoretical physics.

Applicants should hold a recent PhD in theoretical physics, should have the ability to master the material taught in the course, and have demonstrated aptitude and enthusiasm for teaching physics. The positions will start in mid-August 2010 and will continue for one year, with the possibility of renewal for an additional one year term beginning in August 2011.

PSI Students and Teaching Assistants (TAs) will attend daily graduate-level lectures taught by internationally recognized physicists and will participate in tutorials, supervised by the TAs, each day. Teaching Assistants will be responsible for interacting with students in individual and group study and assisting in the evaluation of students.

As well as completing a short general information form, the online application requires your curriculum vitae, a list of publications, and a statement describing your interest and experience in teaching. You must also arrange for at least three letters of reference on your teaching and research ability which can be attached to your online application by your referees.
